Terms and Conditions Preply Tutor Conference
Introduction
Welcome to Preply Tutor Conference ("Tutor Conference"), organized by Preply, Inc. (“Preply”). By registering for and attending the Tutor Conference, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms and conditions, you must not attend the Tutor Conference.

Registration and Attendance
- Eligibility: Participants must register for the Tutor Conference through the provided online registration form. Only registered participants will be permitted to attend.
- Access: The Tutor Conference is conducted via the vFairs platform. Upon successful registration, participants will receive access details.
- Conduct: Participants must follow the Community Rules at all times during the Tutor Conference. Any violation may result in removal from the Tutor Conference.

Intellectual Property Rights
- Content Ownership: All materials presented during the Tutor Conference, including but not limited to presentations, slides, and recordings, are the property of Preply, Inc. or the respective authors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
- License to Attend: By attending the Tutor Conference, participants are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the content for personal, and educational purposes only.
- Prohibition on Recording: Participants are strictly prohibited from making any audio, video, or other recordings of the Tutor Conference sessions without prior written consent from the organizers.
- Use of AI for Notes: The use of artificial intelligence tools to create notes or summaries of the Tutor Conference content is expressly prohibited unless otherwise authorized by the organizers.
- Be kind and courteous. It’s up to all of us to create an environment of mutual trust. Please treat everyone with respect and kindness. Insulting and offensive posts and comments will be removed immediately. In Tutor Café sessions, don't dominate the conversation, give others a chance to speak and mute yourself when someone else is speaking.
- Respect everyone's privacy. Please do not share your other participants and users’ names, photos, screenshots of communication/lessons or personal information. Posts or comments containing private information will be removed.
Recording is not permitted within the Tutor Conference.
- No spam, promotions, or politics. We do not want to clutter the group with unrelated links and off-topic content. We also kindly ask you not to discuss other tutoring platforms.
- Don't spread false or misleading information. Reducing the spread of false or misleading information about Preply or Preply’s terms of service in the community is a responsibility that we take seriously. Our aim is to help Preply tutors stay informed and have reliable, up-to-date information at hand. That is why sharing information in posts/comments that go against Preply’s Terms of Service or information provided in the Help Centre will be removed from Preply professional development events.
- Rule violation and suspension policy. We kindly inform you that in case of violating the rules above repeatedly, we reserve the right to suspend or block you from the Tutor Conference. We also reserve the right to remove participants from the Tutor Conference if they break these community rules.

Liability and Disclaimers
- Accuracy of Information: While Preply strives to provide accurate and current information, we make no warranties or representations regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the content presented in the Tutor Conference.
- Technical Issues: Preply is not responsible for any technical issues participants may experience, including but not limited to connectivity problems, software malfunctions, or compatibility issues with vFairs.
- Third-Party Websites: The Tutor Conference may contain links to third-party websites over which the organizers have no control. The organizers make no representations about the accuracy of information contained on those websites and are not liable for the content on those websites.
- Data Sharing: By registering for the Tutor Conference, participants consent to the sharing of their registration details with vFairs for the purpose of setting up the Tutor Conference. Participants can review vFairs' terms of service here and their privacy policy here.
If the Tutor Conference is canceled by Preply for any reason, participants will be notified via email as soon as possible.

Preply reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Tutor Conference registration page.
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Delaware.
